I Am A Disciple of Christ
I won’t give up, shut up, or let up until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, and preached up for the cause of Christ.
I am a disciple of Jesus. I must give until I drop, preach until all know, and work until He comes. And when He does come for His own, He’ll have no problem recognizing me. My colors will be clear for “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes…” Romans 1:16"

The United Brethren Church began in 1767 in Lancaster, PA. Today, we are people from many backgrounds, many denominations, many religious traditions and many cultures who rally together around the essentials of the faith as "Brothers in Christ", United Brethren.
The United Brethren Church stands firm on Biblical absolutes, allows freedom where the Bible allows freedom, and works to maintain unity when disagreements arise.
We are committed to show people how to spend eternity with God in heaven. We emphasize missions to take Christ's message to the world and strive to look beyond ourselves, our church buildings, and our church programs to find people who need the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

United Brethren in Christ Church Confession of Faith, 1815
WE BELIEVE IN THE ONLY TRUE GOD
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. These three are one. This God created the heavens and the earth and everything in them, visible and invisible. He sustains, governs, and protects it all.
WE BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST
He is both God and man. Jesus became human by the power of the Holy Ghost, and was born to the Virgin Mary. He is the Savior and Mediator of the whole human race, if they with full faith in Him accept the grace offered through Jesus. Jesus suffered and died on the cross for us, was buried, arose on the third day, ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of God interceding for us. Someday he'll come again to judge everyone, living and dead.
WE BELIEVE IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
who is equal in being with the Father and the Son. He comforts the faithful and guides them into all truth.
WE BELIEVE THAT THE BIBLE,
Old and New Testaments, is the word of God. It teaches the only true way to have eternal life. Every Christian must acknowledge and receive the Bible as the only rule and guide. Without faith in Jesus Christ, true repentance, forgiveness of sins, and following after Christ, no one can be a true Christian.
WE BELIEVE THAT WHAT IS CONTAINED IN THE BIBLE
- Adam's fall into sin and the redemption offered in Jesus Christ - must be preached throughout the world.
WE BELIEVE THAT THE ORDINANCES -
baptism and the Lord's Supper - are to be practiced by all Christians. However, the method should always be left to the judgment and understanding of the individual. Our ministers and members honor the judgment and understanding of fellow members whose judgment and understanding differs from their own.
