committed to each other ~ student ministry
We believe that the primary source of biblical teaching should come from parents. So we strive as a student ministry to be committed to the encouragement and support of parents in their role of primary spiritual leadership in the lives of their sons and/or daughters. We hope to compliment this process by having youth group bible studies, outreaches, and events. Our prayer is that we would by God’s grace assist in the spiritual development of the of students at Heritage UB. Helping them to see themselves as a vital part of the church and God’s kingdom building.
Student Ministries
WAC (Walking Along Christ) Youth is a ministry designed for 6th - 9th graders. It is a great place to learn how to walk more closely with God, to begin and grow a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ, and have fun with friends! Bring your Bible and get ready to look for answers to fill in the missing pieces of your faith! The first study will be "Posers, Fakers & Wannabees". For meeting day and time, please see Church Calendar. For more infomation, contact Cal Hodgson or Rhonda Musolf @ 655-6362.
Collision (Grades 9 -12) is a place to challenge teenagers to meet God head on! Here you can gather together with friends, talk about school, the future, and about God's Word and how it applies to your everyday lives. For meeting day and time, please see Church Calendar. For more information, contact Jan Sweers.
S.O.C.K.S. Ministry is aimed at the college age students in our church who need to know we care about the stresses and pressures they are facing at college. We seek ways to remind them of our constant love and support while they are away at school or work. For more information, contact Jan Sweers.

I will not refuse to do the something I can do.”

The REBELution: A teenage rebellion against low expectations headed up by Alex & Brett Harris. The battle cry is just three words, but it's an explosive concept: Do Hard Things. That's it. And "do hard things" is a mentality. It's a mentality that flies right in the face of low expectations. The world says, "You're young, have fun!" It tells us to "obey your thirst" and "just do it." Or it tells us, "You're great! You don't need to exert yourself." But those kinds of mindsets sabotage character and competence. Do Hard Things is just the opposite. It's how we build character and competence. It won't drop to meet the low expectations, it won't just do what comes easily, and it won't become complacent. It applies no matter who you are or what level you're on, because there's always something harder to do, something that will take you outside your comfort zone and cause you to grow.
