Purpose for Worship
We believe we were created to worship. The Westminster Shorter Catechism asks this poignant question, “What is the chief end of man? Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy him forever.” We believe that we are commanded to worship, even sing, in the Word of God. “Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples! Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wondrous works” (Ps. 105:1-2)! For this reason, worshipers should not take a passive attitude toward worship, such as we usually take toward entertainment. Worship is a priestly service. It is latreia, ‘labor, service.’ We gather for worship to bring praise to God and to minister to one another. In worship we are not the guest of honor, our God is.
The Worship Team is actively seeking people who have a passion for praising our Lord through singing or playing an instrument. If the Holy Spirit is nudging you in this area or maybe you just want to explore an area where you can serve, please contact Charli Sinnaeve to arrange a time to discuss the Worship Team Expectations.

Beautiful Message
Check out this beautiful song performed by JesusCulture....do these lyrics ring true to your soul?
So we are His portion and He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes,
If grace is an ocean we're all sinking.
So heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss,
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest.
I don't have time to maintain these regrets when I think about the way...
He loves us, oh how He loves us, oh how He loves us, oh how He loves.
We are....
Wholly devoted to God...
Irrationally committed to each other...
Relentlessly reaching people with the message of Christ.
